It’s no longer news that ‘‘Serious Absence of Purchasing Ability’’. Aka. SAPA is on Rampage, We all need adequate fortification to quench every of its Fiery Darts.
‘‘Build capacity’’, ‘'Follow Passion’’… all these statements might just be mere stories in the ears of average Nigerians who are just hopeful of surviving and possibly catering to their Families’ needs. No one is interested in the passion or Joy of a career path anymore. Maybe we are not to be blamed, All fingers Pointing at SAPA.
A few of us have access to opportunities and advantages over several others. We have the platform to do things right. We need to develop a sense of urgency in helping our People.
It would be unfair to misuse these opportunities because our actions or inactions will either give hope to those who don’t have them by increasing these opportunities or cause us more loss. We all still need to remember that there is a great need to:
Discover our Abilities and Niche. Discover where we fit and draw value from it. Securing the bag is not bad, We don’t just have our Bags in the same field. For instance, We can’t all be Tech Bros.
Give it all. Diligence is Key. We need to push harder. Great feats are not attained cheaply.
Be Content. The power of Contentment can’t be over-emphasized. (This is not to cheer Mediocrity) If you need to be Ambitious, please do.
Walk Beyond the shores. We need to face our fears and give them a try anyway.
Be Valuable. What do you have to offer in exchange for the Bag? Some of us will need to develop relevant skills in exchange for value. (As that CEO, a creative, a freelancer, or even a ‘‘Nine-to-Fiver.’’
We can champion the change we want to see within our reach.
Remember! When Sapa sits Man down, He can not but find every means possible to secure the bag.’’
I'm not the only one who didn't know SAPA was an acronym abi?😂
